Benfica Rout Moreirense 4-0 After Halftime Penalty Opens Floodgates

A penalty right before halftime cracked the door open, and Benfica never let it shut again. At the Estadio Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas, the visitors thrashed Moreirense 4-0 in a Liga Portugal match that was settled entirely in the second half, when the score went from a tight 0-1 to a five-goal rout in just 23 minutes.

The goal that sealed the rout came in the 71st minute, when Fredrik Aursnes, just off the bench, finished with his right foot for the 0-4, again assisted by Schjelderup.
