That is exactly what is happening to Facundo Colidio at Vasco da Gama: he will not be able to play in the Copa Sudamericana semifinals against Boca, and the explanation has more to do with bureaucracy than with soccer.

For Vasco da Gama, the absence is a real blow. Colidio settled in quickly with the Brazilian club: he has played seven matches in the Brasileirao, with two goals and two assists in that stretch. Those numbers point to a player who is locked in, and he is precisely the one who will not be available, perhaps at the most important moment of the club's season, with Boca as the rival in the semifinals.
