Cristian Romero leaves Tottenham for Atletico Madrid in $40 million deal

The structure of the transfer includes 35 million euros guaranteed plus another 5 million in variables. That's no small fee for a 28 year old who still had time left on his contract, but it's hardly a surprise either: Cuti's name had been circulating in the Metropolitano's front offices for a while now.
