The interesting part is how he ended up on their radar in the first place: the London club's scouts had traveled to Germany to keep tabs on Ethan Nwaneri's loan spell at Dortmund, and ended up falling for Beier along the way.

United Already Thinking About Life After Gabriel

Meanwhile, things are moving on a different front in Manchester. United has its eye on Mezian Mesloub, the Lens winger who is just 16 years old, according to TEAMtalk. The idea would be to bring him in as a long term project, but United is far from alone in the race: scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are also tracking the young Frenchman.
