Manchester City Seals Allan Elias Deal from Palmeiras as Savinho and Marmoush Exits Take Shape
The 22-year-old Brazilian winger arrives for 37.5 million euros just as Savinho negotiates a move to Tottenham alongside Marmoush.

While half of Manchester is talking about who's coming in, at the Etihad the focus is on who's leaving. And there are several. The English transfer window closes next Tuesday, and City appears set on making moves in the days remaining, with at least three departures in motion and a new name already emerging as a direct replacement.
That name is Allan Elias, a 22-year-old Brazilian winger currently playing for Palmeiras. According to sources cited by ESPN, the English club already has an agreement with the Sao Paulo side for a fee in the region of 37.5 million euros (about 43.7 million dollars), with an additional 2.5 million in variables. It's not an isolated signing: it comes just as Savinho has one foot out the door.
The Brazilian winger who has been at Manchester for some time is close to leaving the club for Tottenham, in a deal that would also include Omar Marmoush. Two departures at once, which explains why Pep Guardiola needs fresh faces up top before the window shuts.
And there's more. City is also negotiating with Lille over Ayyoub Bouaddi, a midfielder for whom a transfer close to 100 million euros was reportedly agreed this Sunday. A steep price for a player still so young, but one that gives a sense of how far the club is willing to go to strengthen its midfield while letting other names go.
A Midfield in Flux
Nico González is another player who could be packing his bags: his move to Newcastle appears to be progressing. And there's still an open question mark over Enzo Fernández, as a fresh City bid to Chelsea for the Argentine before the week is out hasn't been ruled out.
The signs on the field had already been hinting at this shift. In the 2-1 win over Bournemouth last Sunday, Savinho wasn't even in the squad, while Marmoush and González stayed on the bench. What stood out most was Guardiola's decision to use center back Marc Guéhi in midfield rather than turn to the Spaniard, a clear sign that his spot in the team is no longer guaranteed.
With all this movement in the background, City also has its mind on the football: this Friday they visit Crystal Palace in London for the second matchday of the Premier League. A match arriving amid all the transfer noise, with some players who could depart at any moment and others who are just getting to know the locker room.
