Harry Kane won't shut the door on Al Hilal as he sorts out his Bayern future

Harry Kane seemed like a settled case in Munich. He's spent two years as Bayern's top goal guarantee, a new contract in the works, everything calm on the surface. And yet the Englishman's name has popped up again on a list we know by heart: Saudi club Al Hilal's.

According to a report from TalkSPORT, Kane's representatives held talks with the Saudi club, which wants to keep tabs on his long term plans even though the 33 year old forward is close to signing a new contract in Bavaria. It's not that Kane is looking for the exit, but he hasn't fully closed the door on a future move to the Gulf either. Since arriving in the Bundesliga in 2023, he's piled up 98 goals in 94 league appearances, a number that explains why any deep pocketed club keeps an eye on him. Al Hilal, in fact, isn't just thinking about Kane: also on its radar are Victor Osimhen, now at Galatasaray and still strongly linked with the Premier League, and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa.

Napoli eyeing two Premier League names

While Kane sorts out his future, Napoli is working in a different direction. According to Sky Sports News, the Naples club inquired about Joshua Zirkzee of Manchester United and Nicolas Jackson of Chelsea. Both could leave England this summer, though Jackson's price tag, set at 65 million pounds, complicates things quite a bit for interested parties.

Zirkzee, meanwhile, isn't exclusive to Napoli: Juventus is also tracking him closely, in need of a marquee striker after Dušan Vlahović left the club as a free agent bound for Besiktas. And in case Napoli's attacking front needed another name, Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal is also part of the conversation, with a possible departure fee in the region of 30 million pounds.

A confirmed move in the Premier League

Where there's already more than just rumors is at West Ham. According to BBC Sport, Aston Villa has sealed a deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who will arrive initially on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. The 28 year old fullback already has clearance to travel to the Midlands and undergo his medical. West Ham had previously asked for 25 million pounds for the Congolese international, though the final terms of the transfer are not yet fully known.

Villa, for its part, has already wrapped up two other signings this window: goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, who arrives from Parma for 30 million euros, and left back Matteo Ruggeri, coming from Atletico Madrid for 25 million euros.

Meanwhile, Newcastle is competing with Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig for AC Milan's Christopher Nkunku, according to Footmercato. The Frenchman, who scored seven goals in 32 Serie A appearances last season, is ruling out a move to Saudi Arabia or Turkey for now. And at United, interest in Carlos Baleba is taking shape again: sources close to the club consulted by ESPN say Brighton could lower its asking price from the 100 million pounds it demanded last summer for the Cameroonian.

A transfer market that, like every August, gives no one a break.
