Isak's Lightning Double in Eight Minutes Sends Liverpool to 2-0 Win at Portman Road

It took Alexander Isak just three minutes to settle the match. The striker scored in the 5th minute and struck again in the 8th minute, and that lightning double was enough for Liverpool to leave Portman Road with a convincing 2-0 win over Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

The first was a finish of real quality: Isak latched onto a through ball from Cody Gakpo and curled a right-footed shot from the right side of the box into the top corner, giving the home goalkeeper no chance. Barely three minutes later he repeated the trick: another Gakpo assist slipped in behind the defense, and this time Isak finished with his left foot into the middle of the goal. It's a curious detail: despite Isak's early double, it was actually the home side that created more danger over the rest of the match, just without being able to turn it into goals.
