Liverpool lines up 40 million pound bid for Gilberto Mora, but Tijuana won't make it easy
Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG are also tracking the Mexican star, while Kounde, Quansah and Endrick headline other transfer market moves.

The transfer market never sleeps, and one name is generating serious numbers right now: Gilberto Mora. Liverpool are reportedly preparing a bid worth 40 million pounds (around $52.7 million) for the Mexican prodigy, according to English outlet Football Insider. Not bad for a player who's still turning out for Tijuana's Xolos.
Still, this won't be straightforward. The Mexican club would reportedly demand at least 30 million pounds just to open negotiations, and would also want to include clauses to retain some say over the youngster's future. And Liverpool aren't alone in the queue: Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG are all keeping tabs on him too. Mora, a Mexican international, has become one of those rare talents everyone wants, even if it means a bidding war to get him.
Meanwhile, back in the Premier League, another name is heating up: Jules Kounde. The French defender has been flagged as a potential target for no fewer than five English clubs: Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, according to TEAMtalk. Chelsea appear to be the most active, with Xabi Alonso on the hunt for a reliable right back. Worth noting too that Barcelona need to raise funds to finance their own transfer plans, so the door isn't completely shut.
Defenders, goalkeepers and a Brazilian short on minutes
Real Madrid, according to Bild, continue to closely monitor Jarell Quansah, the 23 year old English defender shining at Bayer Leverkusen since leaving Liverpool for 35 million euros in 2025. The Spanish giants want to add at least two center backs ahead of next summer, and Arsenal are watching the situation as well.
Over at Tottenham, attention has turned to the goalkeeper position: they've added Konstantinos Tzolakis of Hull City to their shortlist, alongside Brighton's Bart Verbruggen. The 23 year old Greek keeper arrived this summer from Olympiacos for 20 million pounds and has already delivered promising numbers, keeping clean sheets in three of his five Premier League appearances.
Bournemouth, for their part, have shut the door on any January offers for Alex Scott, despite interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. The Cherries want to hold onto him at least until summer, even though he's entering the final two years of his contract and his value sits around 100 million pounds.
And in Madrid, there's a situation causing concern: Endrick could be loaned out again in January due to a lack of playing time. Roma remain interested following his loan spell at Lyon, though everything will hinge on how many chances Jose Mourinho gives him in upcoming matches.
More moves in the pipeline
Manchester United are negotiating a contract extension with Bruno Fernandes, while Atletico Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan and Galatasaray keep a close watch on him. That same Manchester club is seeing its chances improve of landing Alejandro Balde in January, given the full back's limited playing time at Barcelona.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have Brentford striker Kevin Schade on their January radar, and are also tracking Tyler Morton, the midfielder who left Anfield last summer and now plays for Lyon.
In Italy, Juventus sent scouts to watch Virgil van Dijk and Brian Brobbey during the Netherlands' draw against Germany, while Napoli are already building their January plans around names like Asane Sow, Mamadou Coulibaly, Sebastian Szymanski and Dodo. And one center back starting to generate real buzz is Noa Mikic of Dinamo Zagreb, who's being watched by Bayer Leverkusen, Newcastle, Brentford, Ipswich Town and Hull City.
