Luis Suárez admits there was transfer interest but shuts down the talk: "My head is at Sporting"

The uncertainty stirred things up among fans, some uneasy at the thought of losing their goal scorer right at the start of the season. But that tension eased with each passing day, and the numbers on the field helped put any doubts to rest. With four goals in five matches, Suárez is the team's top scorer in the Portuguese league. He opened the scoring in the 2-0 win over Nacional, a match that also gave the Colombian a chance to send a message about what it means to play at home.
