Rennes tops the table with home win over Marseille

One well-taken shot was enough for Rennes to claim all three points. At Roazhon Park, the home side won 1-0 over Marseille thanks to a goal from Adrien Thomasson in the 52nd minute, in a match that was far more even than the scoreline suggests.

In added time, a header from Derek Cornelius sailed over the crossbar in what proved to be the last clear chance of the match.
