What does each answer award and cost?

Every answer on your slip has two numbers: the points it awards if you are right and the points it takes away if you are wrong. Anything you leave blank awards nothing and costs nothing.

Who wins: it depends on our forecast

Before each match we publish the probability of every result. The less likely we think a result is, the more points it awards, and the less it costs to miss. Backing the favourite awards less, and missing with the favourite costs more. The exact numbers for each side are on the slip, under "Points each side awards".

If we did not publish a forecast for that match, missing the winner costs nothing.

The exact score multiplies

If you get the exact score, whatever you win for scorers, assists and cards is multiplied by 1.5. What you lose is never multiplied.

Perfect slip

The exact score and every scorer right: +50 extra points.

Before you seal, the slip shows "What you have riding on it": the most you can win and the most you can lose with what you answered.
