Belgrano confirms River fans will be allowed into the Kempes for the 2026 Clausura

Once again, red and white flags will fly in the visitors' section. Belgrano confirmed on social media that River will be allowed to bring fans to Cordoba for the matchup in matchday 13 of the 2026 Clausura Tournament, set to be played at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.

This isn't an isolated case. In fact, it marks the fourth straight game in which River will have its fans behind them on the road: it already happened against Banfield and Atletico Tucuman, it will happen again against Sarmiento in Junin on October 14, and now this clash in Cordoba joins the list, scheduled for the weekend of October 18.

Officials from the Cordoba club explained the reasoning behind the decision, stressing that it's meant to benefit Belgrano's own members above all.

This is an exceptional decision, so that more members have the chance to cheer on the home champion: those who bought season tickets already have their spot secured at no extra cost, and there will be affordable prices for members without a seat to activate their membership.Belgrano

A full end reserved for River fans

Belgrano decided that the Willington stand, an entire general admission section, will be set aside for River supporters. That amounts to roughly 11,500 tickets that will be made available to River's fan base.

There had been talk of a possible 50-50 split between both fan bases, with an eye on ticket revenue, but in the end it was decided that the visitors will occupy only one end of the Kempes.

For Belgrano fans looking to attend the match, prices for the seated sections have already been confirmed, available by activating membership status on the club's official website:

  • Platea Gasparini: adults $40,000; retirees and senior youth $28,000; junior youth $20,000.
  • Platea Ardiles: adults $50,000; retirees and senior youth $35,000; junior youth $25,000.

What still hasn't been determined is when ticket sales will open for River fans, nor the price those seats will carry. More details are expected as the match date at the Kempes draws closer.
