Go ahead and circle the dates. The draw for the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League produced a stacked fixture list, with eight matchdays kicking off on September 8, 2026 that will pit the continent's top contenders against each other almost from the very start.

Paris Saint-Germain, arriving as defending champion, will open on Wednesday, September 9 against Slovan Bratislava in Paris, a matchup that looks manageable on paper.
