Liga MX Matchday 13: Club America visits Atlas looking to stretch its lead, Chivas opens the round needing points
Ten matches split between Tuesday and Wednesday define a round where the Eagles look to pull away at the top and the Flock can't afford a slip at home.

Midweek and with a double dose: that's how Matchday 13 of the Apertura 2026 in Liga MX shapes up, spread across Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21. Ten matches, two days, and a couple of storylines that add extra flavor to the round: Club America looking to pull away at the top with a visit to the Jalisco, and Chivas opening the curtain with an urgent need to collect three points.
The Flock has no room to relax. Chivas hosts Necaxa this Tuesday, October 20 at the Estadio Akron, at 6:07 pm Mexico City time (7:07 pm for Ecuador, Colombia and Peru; 8:07 pm Eastern time; 10:07 pm in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile). Fans in Mexico can catch it on Amazon Prime, while in the United States the broadcast falls to Universo.
That same Tuesday features three other matchups. Atletico San Luis takes on Queretaro starting at 7:00 pm Mexico City time at Estadio Libertad Financiera, with ESPN 2, Disney+ and Vix Premium as options in Mexico, and Vix Premium on the US side. At the same time, FC Juarez hosts Atlante at Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez, with coverage in Mexico going through Fox One and Azteca Deportes, and in the United States through Estrella TV and Fox Deportes.
Closing out Tuesday's slate, Tigres faces Leon at Estadio Universitario starting at 9:10 pm Mexico City time (10:10 pm for the Andean region and 12:10 am for the Southern Cone). Coverage is split between Fox One and Azteca Deportes in Mexico, and Estrella TV, Fox Deportes and Universo in the United States.
A six-match Wednesday, with America and Santos in the spotlight
Wednesday, October 21 comes loaded. Puebla vs Monterrey opens at 7:00 pm Mexico City time at the Cuauhtemoc, with ESPN and Disney+ in Mexico and Vix Premium in the United States. At that same time, Atlas hosts America at Estadio Jalisco, the most anticipated match of the round given what's at stake for the Eagles, who arrive looking to stretch their lead at the top of the table. It can be seen on Vix Premium, TUDN and Canal 5 in Mexico, and on Vix Premium and TUDN in the United States.
Also at 7:00 pm, Toluca takes on Tijuana at the Nemesio Diez, with coverage on Vix Premium, Azteca Deportes and Fox One in Mexico, and Vix Premium in the United States.
The slate wraps up with two simultaneous matches at 9:10 pm Mexico City time. On one side, Pachuca vs Cruz Azul at Estadio Hidalgo, available on Fox One and Fox+ in Mexico, and Vix Premium in the United States. On the other, Santos hosts Pumas at the TMS Corona, with the Warriors looking to extend their winning streak against the university side. That matchup can be followed on ESPN and Disney+ in Mexico, and on TUDN in the United States.
With the overall standings tight and the race for the scoring title also heating up, this doubleheader round promises action on several fronts before the calendar returns to its usual weekend rhythm.
