Liga de Quito Draws 1-1 with Mirassol in Brazil, Keeps Home Edge for the Return Leg

Given that history, it's no surprise the odds lean toward the Ecuadorian side. Home field at Casa Blanca has been a fortress, and on top of that there's the composure Alvarez's team tends to show in these kinds of decisive moments. Still, there's work to be done: the defense had lapses in Brazil that could have cost another goal, and those are exactly the kind of mistakes that can't be repeated when a knockout series is on the line.

Estrada, beyond an uneven night in front of goal, continues to show good form when it comes to scoring, and that becomes key for a team that will need to come out with determination from the opening whistle in search of a spot in the quarterfinals.
