Bayer 04 Leverkusen: 10 games unbeaten against 1. FSV Mainz 05

Here's the catch: in the last five head to head meetings Leverkusen won just one, that 3-2 back in February 2023, and lost three, including last October's wild 3-4. What's actually kept the unbeaten run alive since 2023 are the draws, two of them 2-2 plus a 1-1 this season. The overall head to head still leans Leverkusen's way though, 31 wins, 8 draws and 12 losses across 51 games.
