Barely two minutes had gone by when Dawda Camara already had Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca celebrating. A left-footed shot from close range, set up by an assist from Chiquinho, found the middle of the net, and after a VAR review the goal was confirmed. That early 1-0 turned out to be the final score: Alverca held onto the lead for the full 90 minutes and picked up three points in the Liga Portugal against Rio Ave.
