Gibraltar holds off Andorra as Nations League clash ends scoreless

Neither Gibraltar nor Andorra found a way to break the deadlock in a 0-0 draw at the Europa Point Stadium, a result that leaves both sides feeling something was missing in the final third. There were corners, there were fouls aplenty (24 from Andorra to Gibraltar's 15) and even a fair share of yellow cards, but the ball never crossed the goal line across 90 minutes plus stoppage time in the UEFA Nations League.

The substitutions shook up the game but not the scoreline. Gibraltar rotated pieces with Carlos Richards, Jesse Gomez, Ethan Jolley, Alain Pons and Jaiden Bartolo, while Andorra turned to Ot Remolins, Berto Rosas, Joel Guillen and Alex Martinez. Even in stoppage time, with four minutes added by the fourth official, Jaiden Bartolo tried an angled shot that went wide and closed out the action.
