Arsenal on the radar, but obstacles remain

Meanwhile, ESPN reported that Arsenal has emerged as a concrete alternative to unlock the former River Plate man's departure. The catch is that, from London, they're waiting for a clear signal from both the player and the Spanish club before moving forward with any formal offer.

There's another significant factor to consider when it comes to a move to the Premier League: tax differences between leagues. "There are certain taxes that have to be paid when moving from one league to another, which complicates things further for Arsenal and would mean putting up more money for Julián Álvarez. That's why so many Premier League signings happen between clubs in the same league," the program detailed.
