The Real Madrid youngster jumped $33.5 million in value, but Lamine Yamal remains untouchable as the league's most valuable player.

Yan Diomande's Market Value Explodes, Making Him LaLiga's Man of the Week

Some Transfermarkt updates come and go without much notice. Others become the talk of every bar where soccer gets discussed. This week's update falls squarely into the second category: 153 LaLiga players saw their valuations change following the latest FIFA break, and a handful of names are turning heads.

Let's start with Real Madrid, where the spotlight wasn't on any of the usual headline names but on a 19 year old: Yan Diomande. The Ivorian was, by a wide margin, the biggest riser in the entire Spanish league. His value jumped $33.5 million to land at $134.3 million. For someone barely into his twenties, that's a leap that says a lot about how the market views him right now.

Still, as big as Diomande's week was, the throne hasn't budged. Lamine Yamal remains LaLiga's most valuable player at $246.6 million, a figure that didn't move a single cent in this update. His closest pursuers didn't change either: Kylian Mbappé stays at $224 million and Jude Bellingham at $180 million. Three of the league's biggest names frozen in place while others shift beneath them.

At Barcelona, the headline belonged to Fermín López, now valued at $123.3 million. His rise comes alongside that of a teammate coming through the ranks: Marc Bernal, who climbed to $44.84 million. As for who else gained the most after Diomande, you have to look back at Real Madrid and Barça themselves: Carlos Espí, the Madrid forward, and Xavi Espart, the Barça player, both posted an identical bump of $22.4 million. Espí is now valued at $44.8 million, while Espart, a fullback, climbed to $28 million.

Barrios, Pubill and surprises outside the big clubs

Atlético Madrid had its own chapter with two of its young players: Pablo Barrios and Marc Pubill, both up $16.8 million, putting them at $78.4 million and $56 million, respectively.

Further down the list but no less notable is Carlos Macià of Villarreal, whose breakout went from $13.4 million to $16.8 million. And in Santander there's a special celebration: Moroccan forward Yassir Zabiri went from $12 million to $22.4 million, making him Racing's most valuable player.

And who comes out on top when you look at full squad values? No surprises there: Real Madrid added $51.5 million to its overall total and now sits above $1.68 billion, reaffirming its status as the most valuable squad on the planet.
